Our mechanics provide King and Snohomish Counties with residential and commercial service, from installing new multi-zone hydronic heat systems to repairing turn-of-the-century steam heat to maintaining boilers.
The design and installation of your new heating system requires a high degree of skill and knowledge. With 100+ years of combined experience, our staff has that expertise. We understand your new heating system will be a part of your home for decades to come and will need to be designed and installed correctly.

Meet the Team
Mark Lee, Master and Commander
Mark Lee, a journeyman plumber and mechanic with 25+ years of experience, has been with Carlson Mechanical from the beginning and its owner since 2005. He's passionate about hydronic heating, customer service, and the Minnesota Vikings.
Tim Carlson
Tim Carlson is the founder of Carlson Mechanical. A journeyman plumber with over 40 years of heating experience, he founded the company in the 1990s to specialize in high-quality boiler and hot-water heating.
He now works at the company he started as a trouble-shooting and problem-solving savant.
Dennis Dietzel
Dennis is an excellent mechanic with 30+ years of experience working with boilers, hot-water heating systems, swimming pools, spas, and oil-fired equipment.
He shines at customer service and has been an important part of Carlson Mechanical since 2007.
James Dinnie
James joined Carlson Mechanical in October of 2015. He is a state-certified journeyman plumber and has over 20 years of plumbing experience under his belt.
With a "can-do" attitude and strong emphasis on customer service, he’s become an integral member of the Carlson team.
Arik Lee
Ever since completing his undergraduate studies at WSU, Arik has continued learning everything he can about the heating industry. With his background in finance and business, he's a natural fit!
His excellent customer service skills have been a valuable asset to our fast-growing family business ever since.
Colleen Becker
Colleen has called the Pacific Northwest home since 2007. She brings a unique set of skills to any position as she has worn a variety of hats over the last 20+ years: customer service, hospitality, and property management to name a few. Colleen has a keen eye for detail and is an innovative problem solver. Her strong work ethic and desire to provide a high level of service to our customers while also building strong, lasting relationships makes her a great addition to the Carlson team.
When she's not working, you can find her and her husband Robert swinging their clubs at one of the local golf courses or cruising through town in their 1956 Chrysler Windsor Newport.
Sam Miller
Joining us in 2020, Sam is a Seattle native who is passionate about developing his career in the hydronic heating industry. He is especially motivated to safeguard customers from cold weather!
When not working you can find him relaxing with friends, enjoying quality time with his animals, running, cooking, or reading.
Aaron Gardner
Our newest team member joining us in 2021, Aaron has 25 years of experience working with boilers, commercial burners, steam heat, and controls. We're thrilled and privileged to welcome him to Carlson!
